After living in the Park for five summers growing up, I am amazed and delighted at the changes and updates. My family enjoyed each and every summer we were there while Dad managed the pool. It's the best of the best. Thanx always. Hi to Grandma Burki in Arborfield!

well i went to carrot river on nov 21st and left on the 30th. some how even though i had never been there it felt like home. i'm a corrections officer in springhill ns and plan to go back next fall. i am considering moving to saskatchewan if i can get a transfer to sass pen. at least i'm dreaming of it. would love to live in saskatchewan. i can say after 9 years of working my but off this was the vacation i had always dreamed about. in fact it was the first vacation i have ever taken in my life. and carrot river has won me over. the folks and the feeling one gets is that of peace and kindness. thank you all . mike.carr@ns.sympatico.ca

Hey Carrot River is Awsome.It is my home town but also the best town. Thre are many things.Although we get a lot of snow deep dpwn we all enjoy it. Carrot River is home to the best chinese food "Sing's Cafe." We also have great schools. You should come and see it.

I and my wife Kathy (nee Mitchelmore) are both from Carrot River having been born their, Kathy in Smokey Burn, in 1952 and lived there until 1970 when we graduated from high school. We moved back in 1995 and lived there until 1998 when we then moved to Kelwona.Carrot River is a great town and all who live there should be proud of it. We have been back many times and will be back many more to visit family and friends. Great job on the website, Looking forward to the new history book to come out over the next year or so.

I Grew Up in CR,like so many did,I can't say I miss it there,the only thing I miss is my good friends I had.I noticed I didn't like it when I kept trying to move far and even more far away from it.I am married and no,not to CR boy.my husbend and I live in California,with our daughter and one on the way,can't say I would rather be here,but hi to all my good friends,I miss you guys and will never come home,so I guess I'll just have to keep missing you all.

my great grandparents john and mabel campbell homesteaded in carrot river prior to the railroad reaching there, interesting to learn something about the area. would be nice to see more on the history and people of that time. thanks for a great site.
