| Born and raised in Carrot River and still reside here. Am currently the head custodian at the high school. Great to see many visiting this site and all the great comments. | I lived in Carrot River between the ages of 5 and 9, and I'm now 63. I still have many good memories. My dad, Charles Ainslie, was the manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia there. | From what we Have seen About Carrot River It is a nice looking little town.

| My family lived in Carrot River in the 1930's +. I'm doing some geneology research and can't seem to get very far. However, my great-grandmother was also Mable Sullivan. | I was born May8th 1945 in Carrot River.
My grandmother was Mable Sullivan.She was the postmistress in 1955 when we went back.The mail was delivered by horse and cart.Overhead were the redcross planes flying kids out with polio.My grandmother,was a very strongperson in the town.I remember when we visited,that it was the end of the railroad line | ||

| I just thought I'd send some warm thoughts your way. I still have good friends to see in CR, but now that my family has moved and gramma and grampa have passed away (Jake and Susie Dyck), I know I won't get there nearly often enough.
After many years of being out and about, I've come to understand the beauty of rural living. My husband, Phil, and I have decided to leave behind city life and settle into a tiny farming community in central Alberta. I have two beautiful kids now, Cypress and Anae. | Hello Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We have been doing well in Vancouver. Albert and I have met many new friends at Church and have been busy with potlucks, community activities, and Bible studies. We have taken up swimming and I have yet to learn how to put my head under the water. We have been quite happy with our new surroundings. I will be heading back to Hong Kong in January to visit my Mother and Father, and will be back in Vancouver in mid February. Jen and her husband are moving to Spain and Albe is in New York working at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
It was great seeing you all this summer! To all that I missed, I hope to see you the next time I visit! Take care everyone! | ||

| I have many fond memories of time spent with my grandfather (the late Gordon Taylor of Melfort) in the Pasquia Hills. He told me about the croc (Big Bert) that was found years ago and I thought of looking for it today. It was nice to see the information about it on your website. | ||
